Medical molds are very demanding molds, and the product inspection standards are extremely high. In addition to high-precision processing, it is necessary to understand the use of this product and the national inspection standards of the Quality Supervision Bureau. Some products require more clinical testing to determine eligibility:
 
The main difficulty of the needle is that the dimensional accuracy of the core of the needle tip is not well controlled, and even equipment with high machining accuracy may not be able to process it in place; the size of the Luer connector at the bottom is designed according to the slope of 6:100, and it must be strictly in accordance with the national Standard testing, the actual accuracy may be 0.005-0.01mm, otherwise there will be water leakage, and the core processing scrap rate is very high.

First of all, the mold steel material should be selected with high hardness. The steel material above HRC35° is more suitable. Generally, nak80/S136 steel material is selected. The thermal deformation of the mold is small, and the discharge performance is excellent.
 
Secondly, the control of processing accuracy is particularly important, because the needle product of the trocar is very small, the size of the small hole is only 1mm in diameter, and the concentricity of the core must be ensured, which is a very test of the accuracy of the mold processing personnel and processing equipment. . We choose imported high-speed lathes when selecting processing equipment, and try to use equipment that has been used for less than 5 years, because the actual processing accuracy of equipment that has been used for too long has deviates, which will directly affect the molding of products. The needle should be made of red copper electrode, which is not easy to wear. After the high-speed engraving is in place, the mold is matched and then the mirror EDM is used to hit it in place (the attention should be paid to the control of the machining spark gap).
 
Third: the choice of plastic mouth, generally this product will use a multi-cavity design structure, the mold adopts imported hot runner to turn latent plastic, because the plastic mouth is on the slope, it is easy to pull the plastic mouth, this time the latent glue EDM is particularly important, and the spark gap should be within 0.01 as much as possible.
